Sven Karl

 

Two flights above Salto's studio lived an ex-dentist from Scandinavia, Sven Karl. They first met in the stairwell when Sven asked,

 

"Wi nøt trei a høliday in Sweden this yër?"

 

Mr. Karl would visit Salto's studio from time to time and try his hand at painting.

 

During his visits, he would regale Salto of his homeland's løveli lakes, wøndërful telephøne system and mäni interesting furry animals.
